Waterfront Shootout

The crew decided to look into creating a false flag attack on Waokh of the local oligarchy to frame the Waterfront cartel and went to scout out the compound. However as Tex and Ernie made their way through some rubble nearby, they completely missed a militia patrol walking along the road nearby and had to bluff their way out in a hurry. But the journey was not a complete waste, as the troop did get sight of the compound and also found a site for a possible bomb attack.

Colonel Eriksson then arrived at the hotel to discuss the travellers kidnapping some of the Waterfront Cartel the next day as they delivered some contraband to a boat with a green flag and the next morning, Fishnet, a local, turned up with a speedboat. The travellers then found the boat with the green flag, with an older man selling rugs, and decided to board it and take the man prisoner while the rest of the marketplace looked on. Tex disguised himself as the old man, while Zhil and Halfnir hid belowdecks.

The Waterfront arrived and demanded the money, but were not intent on coming aboard, so Tex went belowdecks and tossed a stun grenade. The two members aboard the boat were not incapacitated, but alarmed enough to back away from the barge. The travellers came out, with Halfnir blasting the boat with a plasma rifle, and Kaelan finishing it off with a laser blast. The Waterfront's sister boat was dispatched by an expertly lobbed stun grenade by Tex.

The unconscious members were kidnapped, while one helpless in the water was ripped apart by propellers. The travellers then hastily made their escape, taking the rug seller's boat and his unconscious form for good measure. Evading the militia who had turned out in force, they met up with the Colonel and his men later on who took custody of the prisoners, as the travellers then made their way back to the hotel.
