Trouble on Thebus

Heading to Thebus starport to look for the Principled Profiteer, the crew asked around but without much luck. Sensing that there was an aslani on the station in a berth, they tooled up and under the false pretenses of selling spares, sent a cargo container with a smuggling compartment through to the target's berth where Al A'Bahmma jumped out and mowed down the aslani and after a brief questioning, the engineer Afrash was also killed. Sensing an opportunity, Halfnir and Bart set about cutting through the various iris valves of the ship to gain access to inner areas.

However, as Al had locked the berth door from the inside, when a crew member returned and was denied entry, the starport security were summoned who then began to investigate who these interlopers were. Realising the gig was up, the crew eventually opened fire on the guards. A plasma grenade from Al, and assault cannon rounds from Bart soon left no-one alive, and they made their escape before the port authorities realised what was up.

Lying in wait elsewhere in orbit, they managed to mostly surprise the Profiteer as it arrived to deliver its cargo and after some savage blasts, quickly agreed to be boarded, but not before they could get off a distress signal to the starport. The pirates opened the cargo bay to release the containers just as a lone fighter came into medium range...
