Defeat of the Mercifuge

The dogfight between the Mercifuge and the Hell's Teeth was abruptly ended when Halfnir scored a direct hit on their opponent's power plant (double 6!), rendering the large ship suddenly into a floating hung of metal. Hailing the ship, the travellers found Redthane now more accepting of his fate, although he tried to bargain for his freedom with alleged information about Admiral Darokyn. The travellers took the crew onboard and agreed to release the rest at Palindrome starport, where the Hell's Teeth had the jump drive repaired.
