The Alleys of Drinax

Given the task of trying to find out the circumstances surrounding the death of Galapigny, the crew first met up with Ivamy Foxard, Galapigny's close friend. Ivamy was able to confirm that Chadaleau and Galapigny were close, and that they bought drugs all the time, often from the Rag Doll club, and they'd been seen there on the night in question. Apparently there had been some sort of altercation between Galapigny and a woman with long dark hair.

Zhil and Tex managed to take a look at Galapigny's body and take samples for examination to the University where Zhil managed to convince a medical secretary that he was a visiting professor and used their equipment for free. There they discovered the presence of a drug, mulafin, which causes a big release of histamine and anaphylactic shock.

Visiting Galapigny's apartment it was immediately apparent that it had been cleaned, and her phone left on a table had plenty of suspicious gaps. A CCTV camera above the door also had a big gap, although Ernie brought in Azzie to help him recover the deleted footage, which showed Chadaleau and Galapigny returning to the apartment, but then the lady with long dark hair arrived but was shooed away by a man with a widow's peak, who went in for a while. Only this man and Chadaleau came out.

Trips to the Rag Doll club uncovered footage of the evening and lead the group to the address of Pocuri the dealer, but not before they had an abrupt encounter with the Star Guard at their ship for a customs inspection. It was only Halfnir's quick thinking that a bribe was offered which urged the Guards to leave it until the morning, and Morris was soon leaving port with the ship.

At Pocuri's apartment they discovered some hidden drugs and a birthday card from Tamastin and everyone at Battle Scars. Zhil decided to test the drugs and had his first experience of the psychedelic Trelicid! On the balconey, the crew spotted Pocuri returning but being followed by the man with the widow's peak and she was suddenly pushed in front of a grav taxi! Halfnir parkoured down the balconeys, in time to see the attacker pocket Pocuri's phone before fleeing. Kaelan was soon on the scene, leaping the balconeys, with some first aid, while the rest of the crew tried to rescue Pocuri with Ernie carjacking the taxi as an impromptu ambulance.

Meanwhile Tex and Halfnir sprinted after the attacker, who had been shot by the hallucinating Zhil and stunned by a grenade from Ernie. But before he sprinted through a utility door, he took a shot at Tex with a laser pistol as the rest of the crew headed off in the grav taxi.
