Finding Halfnir

Some of the travellers, Ernie, Chirokio, Kaelan, Algorn and Tex decided to investigate the subsidised liner The All Fathers in port at Wildeman in an attempt to rescue Halfnir. The group all bought tickets and boarded the vessel as legitimate passengers. Tex and Kaelan both managed to smuggle weapons past the scanner.

Their first gambit was to take out the security guard with stunners. Ernie hacked the ship's computer and located Halfnir in a low berth. Hacking the security cameras, he also located one of the bounty hunters in the low berths saloon. Luring the bounty hunter out, they managed to wound her but not take her down and she managed to close and lock the door. Ernie was quick enough to jam her call for help.

The standoff with the bounty hunter came to a head when the door was finally opened with Tex, Chirokio and the bounty hunter all firing - the bounty hunter fired first and missed and she was soon taken out. A delicate operation by Kaelan to bring Halfnir out of cryogenic sleep was soon underway but would take an hour...

Meanwhile, Shofini, the ship's steward returned to the ship and discovered Algorn in the security guard's uniform! Algorn tried to stop her with a stunner, but now he was running for the hangar exit and two more missed shots had her out and running for customs! To keep the starport security from discovering the raid, Zhil staged an expert distraction with a batch of grenades which had the starport marines chasing shadows. Algorn managed to chase down Shofini and grapple him to floor and stun him and carry him back to the ship.

With Halfnir finally out of the low berth the crew hurried back to the Swan and made their escape to Pandora to deal with Mauser.
