Extraction on Tech-World

The travellers were approached by Meleir Karnash at a lounge in Tech-World starport. She was looking for a group of "independent field agents" with flexible morals and our group fit the bill. The job was to pick up Sanaki Docobsan and his family who was currently trapped in a restrictive contract and wished to defect from Lysani Laboratories to Cropagna. The pay was more than reasonable and a far trader ship, the Pulsar, was loaned for the travel to Hilfer where Docobsan was to be delivered.

After a call from Sanaki, the travellers found him and his family at a small restaurant in Stanik Parade. But opposite the restaurant in a coffee shop, were two shifty looking men looking at a tablet. Zhil and Ernie lead the way, with Halfnir supporting behind and Kaelan staying with the SkyWay car. Unfortunately, luck was not with Zhil and he managed to trip over the table and swipe their tablet clean off the table. The men were not happy, but were eventually placated.

After Ernie had checked the situation out and discovered another suspicious gent inside, Zhil went into the restaurant. Halfnir distracted the two opposite by punching one, and Zhil opened fire on the agent inside, who then fired back injuring Zhil before diving out of the way. Ernie put him finally to sleep with a stunstick and the travellers were able to hustle the terrified family out and back to the starport where Mo the pilot was waiting to get the Pulsar of the ground.

The travellers relief at getting airborne was short-lived as a scout ship called the Promise hailed them telling them to return to the starport as they were suspected of kidnapping and threatening to open fire. The travellers refused to return and soon battle was begun, with the Pulsar firing two missiles, but having taken fire from pulse lasers...
