Grenades in Zero G

The crew followed up the lead given to them by Mila about a spaceship which could be illegally salvaged and with Kaelan flying the launch Tom Thumb came across a scout ship with no power showing no transponder. Kaelan scanned the ship and discovered it was on a collision course with an asteroid in about 24 hours. The hull was breached in engineering.

Wasting no time, the crew docked with the scout and Halfnir and Ernie forced the target airlock and they boarded with vacc suits finding it had no power or gravity. First stop was the bridge which took the crew a while to get open finding two dead crew in vacc suits. Another was dead in a stateroom. Investigating the transponder on the bridge they found it had been illegally modified with a kill switch and yet it was a scout ship on active duty to the scout service.

The aft corridor had hand grenades floating in it, which the crew managed to pluck from the air and secure after an initial scare! In the hold was another revelation - millions of credits worth of arms, all designed with a larger race in mind, possibly aslani.

Repairs were hurriedly made by the whole crew working together to fix the jump drive and power plant, seal the breach. However the fuel tank was empty, but Ernie managed to rig up a pump system in 10 minutes flat! With power they started the power, but were locked out of the ship by security, so Zhil used the crew's severed thumbs to open it.

The ship rescued, the crew headed back to Mila's habitat and after a little horse trading, the crew paid her with ship shares and updated the weaponry. They then all went out to indulge their vices over the next few days, but not everyone came back...
